La coordination des relations intra- et inter-organisationnelles au sein de l'usine mondiale : le cas de Renault Trucks

Abstract

Les firmes multinationales (FMN) sont amenées à mettre en place des systèmes de production flexibles (usine mondiale) afin de répondre aux nouvelles exigences des consommateurs. Cet objectif induit un éclatement des activités de la chaîne de valeur impliquant des relations intra- et inter-organisationnelles. La notion de coordination de ces activités dispersées à travers le monde devient alors cruciale. Afin de comprendre comment les FMN coordonnent leurs relations intra- et inter-organisationnelles au sein de l'usine mondiale, une recherche- action avec Renault Trucks (filiale du groupe Volvo) a été menée. Une analyse dysfonctionnelle de 29 entretiens nous permet de mettre en avant les principaux défis à relever dans le pilotage des relations intra- et inter-organisationnelles au sein de l'usine mondiale. Par ailleurs, l'élaboration d'un outil de diagnostic avec les acteurs de l'entreprise nous autorise à introduire la notion d'autonomie dans la mise en place de mécanismes de coordination des relations intra- et inter-organisationnelles au sein de l'usine mondiale.
