Abstract

Innovation is at the heart of thinking for many companies. At the beginning of its process, we find specific problems of information retrieval: finding opportunities for innovation, new ideas or inventions to exploit or to better understand the habits and current fashions, competitors choices for the futur. Creative competitive intelligence contributes to these objectives because it targets information to assist directly an innovation process. In this orientation, it looking for something new, but also routine signals indicating some threats of potential innovations or repetitions in the implementation of innovation strategies of competitors.
