Abstract

An alcohol family business enrolls the owner son-in-law in 1912 until his brutal death in 1934. During this time, the firm faces different crisis including a succession and a sectorial one which sectoriel component drives to failure to several other companies. The research question is the following: the enrollment of a son-in-law represents or not an organizational innovation in order to overcome the different crisis. The examination of the " Jean Barennes " corpus pertaining to the departemental archives of Gironde enables us the explanation of the company passing through crisis
