Abstract

Dans cette communication, notre objectif est de mettre en exergue le rôle et la place des acteurs de l'économie sociale et solidaire dans la fabrique de l'ÉcoQuartier, moteur de la ville durable en insistant sur la convergence de l'approche des proximités et celle de l'économie sociale et solidaire. Par ce détour, nous explorons le concept d'innovation sociale. Notre postulat est que l'économie des coûts et des stocks de facteurs a cédé la place à une géographie des organisations, de la qualité des institutions et de la coordination des acteurs. Dans ce contexte, des dynamiques émergentes de " territoires construits ", se substituant aux " territoires naturels ", constituent un compromis à l'opposition local/global. Balises d'une transition du capitalisme industriel vers un capitalisme cognitif fondé sur la connaissance et les réseaux, ces dynamiques émergentes s'accompagnent de nouveaux paradigmes technologiques qui, dans une large mesure, accordent une place privilégiée à l'innovation sociale.
