Abstract

Ce travail s'appuie sur la reconstitution et l'utilisation de données de long terme, du début du XIXème siècle à nos jours. Son but est de retracer l'évolution des prix des crus classés du Haut-Médoc en tentant d'en expliquer le mouvement par une série de facteurs économiques ou non. Nous montrons que les effets conjoncturels liés à la viticulture, au climat, à l'économie, spéculation comprise, aux guerres ont eu, durant la période de deux siècles étudiée, une grande importance du point de vue de la formation des prix des crus classés. Nous montrons également que la demande a affecté différemment l'évolution des prix d'un groupe de crus à l'autre.
