Abstract

A la suite du colloque de la division "Research Methods" de l'Academy of management organisé du 18 au 20 mars 2004, il a été jugé utile de renouveler cette expérience qui avait permis à plus de 200 enseignants-chercheurs de 20 pays de réfléchir à la complémentarité des méthodes de recherches quantitatives, qualitatives et hybride. En effet, ce colloque avait été jugé très utile pour trois principales raisons : - il permettait à des membres de la division de se retrouver une deuxième fois dans l'année, dans le cadre d'un plus petit comité que celui de la conférence de l'Academy of Management. - Il avait permis de faire le point des problèmes méthodologiques difficiles comme celui de la complémentarité des méthodes de recherche, en se centrant de façon conviviale pendant trois journées sur des débats de fond afin d'échanger et de faire progresser les connaissances afin que les recherches en management permettent de développer encore davantage des connaissances opérationnelles utiles à la fois pour les étudiants et les praticiens.
