Abstract

Le 24 mars 1999 à 10h52, le régulateur français du tunnel du Mont-Blanc devient un participant à une situation ambiguë, c'est-à-dire difficile à déchiffrer, complexe et paradoxale. Il vient en effet de s'apercevoir qu'un camion dégageant de la fumée vient de s'arrêter au centre du tunnel. Comment, dans cette situation, les décisions vont-elles être prises, à commencer par celle de fermer le tunnel ? En s'appuyant sur la littérature portant sur la fabrique du sens, l'auteur propose au débat scientifique le concept de regard porté sur une situation.
