Abstract

L'activité hospitalière française est inscrite depuis plusieurs années dans un régime de réformes qui amène à repenser en profondeurs les pratiques, les méthodes, les procédures, les outils et les métiers. C'est tout particulièrement le cas de l'activité pharmaceutique hospitalière, fonction à faible visibilité et dont la valorisation n'est pensée que de façon récente. Une recherche-intervention menée dans un grand hôpital de la Région parisienne met au jour les gisements de performances tant humaines que financières que recèle la pharmacie à usage intérieure. Elle permet d'identifier les leviers d'appui pour une conduite du changement ayant le double objectif de la promotion des personnes y travaillant et d'un service optimisé aux différentes parties prenantes ; la pharmacie hospitalière se doit de mieux maîtriser l'organisation et la gestion logistique du médicament pour dégager des ressources au service d'activités cliniques telle que l'éducation thérapeutique du patient.
