Abstract

La rigueur budgétaire, la culture de la performance, le poids de l'évaluation comme facteur déclencheur de l'attribution des subventions, sont autant d'éléments qui interrogent les professionnels des entreprises de spectacle vivant sur l'évolution du cadre dans lequel ils pratiquent leur métier et sur la manière dont les spectacles sont produits. Ils cherchent à se situer dans un espace paradoxal où l'intervention publique diminue (baisse des crédits) en même temps qu'elle augmente (contrôle accru par l'application de la LOLF (Loi Organique Relative aux Lois de Finances)) ; où la rationalisation semble rimer avec normalisation et dissoner avec passion ; où résultats immédiats quantitatifs se heurtent au temps de la gestation de la création et de la formation des publics. De plus, malgré la stabilité de la fréquentation des salles (O.DONNAT, 2009), la proposition culturelle croissante disperse les publics et la révolution numérique pose la question de sensibilisation des générations qui évoluent dans une société où le virtuel prime.
