Abstract

Le développement du secteur associatif, ou plus exactement la prise en compte de sa place dans nos sociétés conduit à s'interroger sur les modalités de sa gouvernance. En effet le bénévolat offre une double perspective pour le champ de la responsabilité sociale : les structures associatives sont à la fois un vecteur important pour la mise en oeuvre de démarches socialement responsables (vision externe) et représentent un champ organisationnel peu investi par les chercheurs (vision interne). Pour améliorer le pilotage de la surviedéveloppement d'une association, il nous semble nécessaire au préalable de prendre acte de sa dimension organisationnelle. La gouvernance dans ce contexte ne peut se concrétiser sous la forme d'une réplication de structure organisationnelle orchestrée et animée avec des leviers importés d'autres types de structures et avec des règles du jeu entendues.
