Abstract

L'objectif principal de l'étude économique était de mesurer de façon prospective et randomisée les surcoûts d'une fréquence quotidienne par comparaison à une fréquence hebdomadaire des contrôles de positionnement du patient dans le cadre d'une radiothérapie guidée par l'image (image-guided radiotherapy [IGRT]) de cancers de la prostate, en prenant en compte les différentes modalités d'imagerie tridimensionnelle : tomographie conique (cone beam computed tomography [CBCT]) et implants de grains d'or (repères fiduciels). Un objectif secondaire était d'évaluer les surcoûts des modalités d'une imagerie tridimensionnelle par comparaison à une modalité " bidimensionnelle " par " imagerie portale " pour le contrôle de positionnement.
