Abstract

The governance of innovation networks has never been more important in our time where territorial dynamics, competitive (hyper-competitive) and complexity are inherently exacerbated. After examining the characteristics of innovation networks, including the more specific case of business ecosystems, we focus on key success factors of governance of these networks that let the collaborative innovation a great market success. We treat finally a practical case, the DVD hyper competitiveness, to illustrate the major role of governance in the success of innovation networks.
