Abstract

Les entreprises développant des produits ou procédés nouveaux sont également reconnues comme innovantes en matière d'organisation. L'objectif de ce chapitre est précisément d'analyser la complémentarité entre innovations technologique et organisationnelle. Si cette complémentarité est actuellement largement affichée, peu de travaux se sont spécifiquement centrés sur la mise en évidence et l'analyse de ce phénomène. Pour ce faire une revue de la littérature présente les principaux apports théoriques et l'évolution des formes d'organisation réputées favorables à l'innovation. Au-delà de cette approche théorique sur les designs organisationnels, ce sont les interactions entre les différentes innovations de la firme qui sont étudiées. Ces liens de réciprocité sont analysés ensuite dans le cas de P.M.E. technologiquement innovantes. Ils permettent de caractériser un rôle de support de l'innovation organisationnelle vis-à-vis des développements de produits ou de procédés. Cette dernière favorise en effet des conditions d'apprentissage qui créent un environnement favorable aux évolutions technologiques.
