Le travail et l'organisation du travail dans les associations d'aide à domicile, entre industrialisation et résistances

Abstract

Dans un premier temps, ce chapitre revient sur la manière dont le travail et l'organisation du travail se sont progressivement consolidés dans les associations d'aide à domicile, autour de deux processus majeurs : d'une part, autour d'un continuum allant du domestique au professionnel, et d'autre part, autour de l'affirmation de la centralité du rôle de l'usager dans la co-production des services. Dans un second temps, il analyse les points d'achoppement de ces héritages associatifs avec les tendances en cours à l'industrialisation des services d'aide à domicile. Ces points d'achoppement s'incarnent dans des résistances perceptibles à deux niveaux dans les associations du secteur : d'abord des résistances liées à la nature du travail et de l'activité, du fait de la contradiction entre les mondes de production domestique et industriel ; ensuite des résistances revendiquées par les acteurs, face aux risques de standardisation du service rendu.
