L'alliance Renault-Claas : une " aventure commune " franco-allemande

Abstract

En 2003, le groupe français Renault et le groupe allemand Claas décident de nouer une alliance stratégique dans le domaine des machines agricoles. Les objectifs affichés par les deux groupes paraissent complémentaires et les dirigeants impliqués se montrent optimistes quant à la mise en œuvre de l'opération. Il paraît important de souligner qu'une alliance stratégique, qui établit des relations étroites entre les deux partenaires, est avant tout un rapprochement des hommes qui sont amenés à travailler ensemble, mais dont les perceptions et les modes de travail peuvent être différents. C'est notamment le cas des alliances qui associent des acteurs qui appartiennent à des univers culturels différents. Le principal défi de cette alliance franco-allemande est de combiner les savoir-faire des deux groupes dans les domaines de la technologie, de l'image et de la marque. Cette étude de cas explique comment les deux groupes ont réussi l'intégration des différences culturelles.
