Abstract

En realidad, a pesar de las apariencias elogiosas que han hecho creer en un "milagro español", el tipo de desarrollo en España, desde su entrada en la CEE en 1986, no era sostenible. Hoy en día, la economía española sufre dos grandes males: su financiarización excesiva y la ausencia de mecanismos de ajuste entre países de la zona euro que sustituyan lo que se conseguiría modificando los tipos de cambio. Esto ha tenido como resultado profundos desequilibrios que explican por qué España se ha visto tan profundamente desestabilizada por el shock de la crisis financiera iniciada en 2007.
