Abstract

Cette étude analyse les impacts des restrictions technologiques perçues sur l'essai d'innovation avec les technologies de l'information (TI). En nous basant sur la théorie de l'essai d'innovation avec les TI (EITI) (Ahuja and Thatcher 2005), nous avons émis en hypothèses que la propension à innover des individus est influencée par la perception de restrictions intégrées aux TI, et que cette relation est modérée par l'autonomie perçue au travail. Nous avons conduit une enquête avec des salariés en formation continue en France et testé un modèle synthétique en distinguant deux catégories de salariés : les cadres et les employés. Les résultats confirment les hypothèses, avec cependant des différences notables entre les deux populations de salariés. Cette recherche contribue à une meilleure compréhension du réseau nomologique autour de l'EITI. Les implications théoriques et managériales sont ensuite discutées.
