Un appareil productif en mutation : les 50 ans qui ont tout changé en Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur

Abstract

En évoquant la perspective de la désindustrialisation, le discours récurent des experts risque de dramatiser exagérément une tendance actuelle effectivement préoccupante. Il risque aussi et surtout d'occulter les moteurs bien réels qui peuvent permettre à la France d'affronter efficacement les bouleversements économiques et sociaux qui s'annoncent. En Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, région que l'on peut considérer comme peu industrialisée, ces moteurs existent bel et bien. Progressivement émergés au sortir des crises douloureuses qui ont détruit ou altéré les anciennes bases productives de cette région, ces moteurs ont commencé à opérer. Au cours des cinquante dernières années, à la faveur de multiples interactions sociales, ils y ont généré une véritable mutation de l'appareil productif.
