L'utilisation des technologies de l'information dans les PME

Abstract

Cette étude explore la relation entre la capacité de l'entrepreneur fondateur et l'utilisation stratégique des technologies de l'information (TI) par les PME. Une triangulation des résultats basés sur sept études de cas au Canada, France, Allemagne, Italie, Espagne, Royaume-Uni et États-Unis couplée à une enquête montre que les motivations personnelles et les compétences de l'entrepreneur sont des phénomènes importants dans les entrepreneuriales et leur développement. En outre, une expérience professionnelle préalable et la capacité des entrepreneurs à "agir en pensant " et à s'adapter aux changements de l'état du marché sont des phénomènes explicatifs. L'étude propose l'existence d'un " état d'esprit numérique " et d'une " formule gagnante " qui repose sur une combinaison d'orientation client, de création d'une culture d'entreprise innovante et de compétences entrepreneuriales pour connecter, relier et optimiser les ressources disponibles dans la chaîne de valeur.
