Abstract

Le développement du mouvement de responsabilité sociale à travers le monde a permis de préparer le champ à une nouvelle étape de normalisation en matière sociétale pour répondre aux besoins de crédibilité et de comparabilité des comportements des entreprises. C'est dans cet objectif que le référentiel de responsabilité sociale "Social Accountability 8000" a été conçu par le SAI (Social Accountability International) en 1997. L'objectif de ce papier est double. En premier lieu, présenter ce référentiel comme étant une nouvelle forme de certification et d'audit social. En deuxième lieu, étudier les possibilités d'application de ce référentiel à travers une enquête menée sur les perceptions des différents acteurs concernés par ce projet dans le contexte français
