Abstract

Prenant appui sur une littérature sélectionnée, cet article a pour but d'examiner la pertinence et la cohérence d'études visant à estimer les coûts et les bénéfices des actions de santé en direction des travailleurs toxicomanes présentant des conduites addictives. Dans une perspective exploratoire, sont d'abord évoqués les méthodes et quelques résultats disponibles ; puis, dans un deuxième temps, ces travaux sont évalués à l'aune d'un référentiel de méthodologie économique. Il apparaît que, au delà des défauts ou problèmes méthodologiques, l'approche privilégiée est implicitement orientée, puisqu'il s'agit de convaincre les employeurs d'agir. Elle est également peu adaptée, puisque les leviers incitatifs sont faibles ou hors du champ du calcul économique stricto sensu.
