Abstract

From 2003, strong impetus has prompted collective negociation regarding older workers, either at sector level, or directly at company level. The paper sets the institutional framework for company negociations on senior employment until 2010. From an in-depth study in five companies, it outlines the existence of groups of agreements. The analysis of the context and content of company agreements highlights three processes, with varying degrees of change for HR practices regarding older workers.
