Hétérogénéité des économies européennes et interdépendances conjoncturelles entre l'UEM et les U.S.A

Abstract

Cet article étudie les conditions de transmission de chocs asymétriques entre une union monétaire constituée de pays hétérogènes et les Etats-Unis, lorsque le canal commercial entre les deux zones combine des échanges de biens intermédiaires et de biens finals. Les résultats montrent d'une manière générale que lorsque les salaires sont fixes (flexibles) la diffusion de chocs au niveau transatlantique est significativement affectée par l'intégration du segment intermédiaire (final) du marché des biens et services ; la diffusion des chocs budgétaires asymétriques entre membres de l'U.E.M. est significativement affectée par l'intégration commerciale transatlantique.
