Abstract

Les évolutions des dernières décennies, et les multiples débats sur l'ouverture des établissements de soin publics à la rationalisation des dépenses et à la recherche de l'efficience, ont montré que pour beaucoup l'hôpital est encore étranger à la gestion. Ce constat repose sur une définition restrictive de cette discipline, importée des entreprises du secteur privé avec une vision parfaitement ahistorique, dans le sens où elle nie l'influence du cadre conceptuel d'une époque et suppose que le modèle aujourd'hui dominant est permanent, voire incréé.
