Proposition D'Un Cadre D'Analyse De La Qualite De L'Information Environnementale Diffusee Dans Les Rapports Annuels

Abstract

L'objectif de ce papier est de développer une grille d'analyse de la qualité de l'information environnementale diffusée dans les rapports annuels et donc de définir des critères opérationnels de mesure de la qualité. Une information de qualité semble répondre aux critères de matérialité, de fiabilité, de comparabilité et de clarté. Une distinction est effectuée entre une information minimale de qualité, qui répond à ses critères et donc est utilisable par les individus, et l'information pertinente, qui répond précisément aux attentes de l'individu, qui est utile pour la prise de décision. L'application de cette grille à 20 entreprises cotées au CAC 40 permet de montrer que tous les items environnementaux matériels ne sont pas diffusés et que les items diffusés présentent une fiabilité, une clarté et une comparabilité moyennes. Il existe donc des possibilités pour améliorer la qualité de l'information diffusée.
