Abstract

La négociation sur l'audiovisuel tente de concilier la promotion de la libéralisation progressive du secteur tout en assurant aux gouvernements une autonomie pour préserver et promouvoir l'identité et la diversité culturelle. En effet, la possibilité pour les États de maintenir, d'établir et de développer des politiques de soutien à la création artistique entre en contradiction avec certaines dispositions contraignantes des accords de l'OMC (AGCS, Accord sur les subventions, article XII du GATT, Accord sur la propriété intellectuelle [ADPIC]).
