Abstract

Cet article sur les investissements chinois en Europe s'inscrit dans la problématique émergente d'un phénomène économique récent, significatif et au cœur des relations économiques internationales, celui de l'essor de flux d'investissements directs des pays du Sud vers les pays du Nord. Le propos ici n'est pas d'ordre théorique mais principalement empirique. Il s'agit d'entreprendre une analyse systématique destinée à mieux cerner l'ampleur du phénomène et d'en identifier les principaux acteurs et leurs différents attributs. Afin de dépasser les limites inhérentes à toute approche macro-économique, trop agrégée par nature, l'accent a été mis sur une approche micro-économique plus analytique.Une attention particulière a été portée sur les motivations et les stratégies des entreprises chinoises en Europe.La recherche a mobilisée un certain nombre de ressources informationnelles parmi lesquelles une base de données longitudinale établie par les auteurs et une série d'entretiens menés en Europe auprès de différents experts et acteurs.Un certain nombre de résultats sont présentés ici et font l'objet d'une première interprétation.
