Abstract

Après un plan triennal (1967-1969) et deux plans quadriennaux (1970-1977), l'Algérie a créé plus d'un million d'emplois dans le cadre d'une stratégie de développement qui a suscité de nombreux débats, relatifs au développement économique en général et à l'industrialisation en particulier. Mais cette création massive d'emplois a-t-elle corrigé (ou a-t-elle renforcé) les déséquilibres structurels que connaît toute population active d'une économie sous-développée ? Autrement dit, cette création d'emplois a-t-elle porté sur du travail productif en vue d'élargir les bases de la production matérielle et accroître le surproduit, ou n'a-t-elle fait qu'obéir à la logique de la structure de la population active de l'économie sous-développée ? Pour répondre à ces questions, nous devons d'abord exposer des préliminaires théoriques dans lesquelles nous préciserons le contenu des catégories que nous aurons à utiliser pour ensuite approcher la problématique du travail productif dans le développement économique
