Abstract

Expropriations multiples, pertes bancaires gigantesques, faillites d'établissements financiers : la crise des subprimes secoue le monde. Cette crise est aussi celle de l'immobilier, désormais associé aux mouvements internationaux des capitaux, et responsable de flambées et débâcles à l'échelle planétaire. Quelles nouvelles formules d'investissement connaît l'industrie de la pierre ? Quels sont leurs effets sur les marchés du logement ? Comment garantir des conditions de vie décentes au plus grand nombre et espérer promouvoir la ville durable ? En interrogeant les pays asiatiques où la question foncière est particulièrement brûlante, ce livre questionne notre proche futur où la crise immobilière pourrait se révéler plus dévastatrice que la bulle boursière.
