Quelles compétences pour les responsables logistiques ?Résultats d'une enquête de terrain

Abstract

L' OBJET de ce travail est de définir les compétences clé dont doit disposer aujourd'hui unresponsable logistique, qu'il soit directeur logistique ou supply chain manager, et cellesqui seront importantes dans le futur compte tenu des évolutions actuelles du métier. Pour cefaire, nous nous appuyons sur les résultats d'une enquête terrain menée à l'aide d'unquestionnaire auprès de 51 responsables logistiques. L'étude hiérarchise 82 compétences,réparties en quatre catégories : les compétences techniques en logistique, les compétencestechniques en gestion des entreprises, les compétences humaines inter-personnelles (soiavec les autres) et les compétences humaines intra-personnelles (soi vis-à-vis de soi). Cescompétences ont été définies à partir d'une revue de la littérature et enrichies à l'aide d'uncomité de pilotage de l'Association Française pour la Logistique (ASLOG) et de membres decette association faisant parti de la région Bretagne. L'étude indique notamment que lescompétences managériales sont cruciales pour le logisticien, même si sa formationtechnique doit être également excellente, en particulier sur des compétences émergentescomme le supply chain management (SCM) ou les nouvelles technologies.
