La critique : menace ou alliée stratégique ? Une approche institutionnelle des relations entre distributeurs et critiques

Abstract

Basé sur le modèle théorique d'Oliver (1991) des réponses stratégiques à la pression de l'environnement institutionnel, cet article discute des stratégies mises en place par les distributeurs de films à l'égard de cette forme particulière de pression institutionnelle que représente la critique des médias. Les propositions d'Oliver quant aux déterminants de ces choix stratégiques sont ensuite discutées, distinguant les cas de ces deux idéaux-types organisationnels que sont la major et l'indépendant dans le champ cinématographique.
