Abstract

L'amplification du phénomène d'urbanisation en Afrique a entraîné la croissance des besoins de transports, tandis que l'offre de transport connaissait une crise grave, liée à la crise économique, d'ou un développement du secteur artisanal, qui n'a cependant pas réussi à faire face à ces besoins de déplacement. C'est pourquoi le séminaire SITRASS 2 a été organisé autour de deux grands thèmes: la complémentarité entreprise-artisanat et les systèmes d'information, relatifs à ce domaine encore indisponibles ou inexistants, tout en ajoutant une exploration, encore timide, de l'influence potentielle des collectivités locales dans ces politiques de transport urbain.
