Le rapport capital/travail dans le capitalisme cognitif

Abstract

Dans le passage du capitalisme industriel au capitalisme cognitif, le rapport capital/travail a connu une transformation radicale. Cette mutation concerne de manière indissociable l'organisation sociale de la production, la composition de classe sur laquelle s'appuie la valorisation du capital et par conséquent les formes de la répartition entre salaire, rente et profit. L'objectif de cet article est de reconstruire les caractéristiques et les enjeux essentiels de cette grande transformation. Pour ce faire, nous procéderons en trois étapes. Après avoir rappelé rapidement l'origine et le sens historique de la mutation qui a conduit à l'hégémonie du travail cognitif, nous analyserons les principaux faits stylisés qui permettent de cerner la mutation actuelle du rapport capital/travail. Nous montrerons pour finir de quelle manière le rôle de plus en plus central de la rente déplace les termes de l'antagonisme traditionnel fondé sur l'opposition salaire-profit d'entreprise.
