Abstract

Economists agree upon the beneficial effects of diversity hardly produced by the market, nevertheless they are less than forthcoming about the means to defend diversity. Highlight that cultural diversity cannot be reached through strictly national politics. The international organisation of "La Francophonie" has a political role to play in order to defend cultural identities that exceed nation-states boundaries.
