La certification dans les théories économiques : quelle place ? Quelle pertinence pour la formation continue ?

Abstract

En faisant une place grandissante à la certification le système de formation continue est-il en train de s'aligner sur le modèle de formation initiale ? Les titres post-scolaires remplissent-ils les mêmes fonctions que les titres scolaires sur le marché du travail ? Ont-ils la même valeur ? Pour avancer des éléments de réponse à ces questions, nous proposons de relire les théories économiques de l'éducation et de les mettre en discussion dans le champ de la formation continue. Dans un premier temps nous ferons un survey des théories économiques, avec comme fil directeur une analyse de la place des certifications dans des approches qui traitent plus largement de l'éducation et de la formation. Dans un second temps, nous mettrons en discussion pour les différents types de titres post-scolaires les fonctions économiques des certifications passées en revue précédemment.
