Abstract

Cette recherche a pour objectif de tester l'impact, sur des fumeurs, d'une modification des formats des avertissements sanitaires apposés sur les paquets de cigarettes. À l'issue de la synthèse des recherches menées sur ce sujet, des propositions de recherche sont dégagées. Ensuite, huit entretiens de groupe sont conduits sur 48 fumeurs français. Les résultats indiquent que les formes d'avertissements anciennes devaient être changés, mais que les messages actuels (verbaux) et futurs (picturaux) ne font pas l'unanimité. Plus spécifiquement, pour être plus efficaces, les avertissements doivent être chocs, ciblés, courts, clairs et impliquants pour la cible visée.
