Le débat sur le déficit courant en 2002 : la politique commerciale américaine est-elle tributaire de la doctrine financière officielle ?

Abstract

On observe une forte dégradation du déficit courant des États-Unis depuis la moitié des années quatre-vingt-dix. Malgré les problèmes que ce phénomène pose à l'économie américaine, on peut remarquer que l'administration Bush le considère d'une manière particulière : seule semble compter officiellement la vision financière. Or, force est de constater que du côté commercial, cette administration est pour le moins activiste.
