Etudiants-salariés, salariés-étudiants, les résultats d'une enquête auprès des étudiants de 1er cycle de l'UFR de sciences économiques de Grenoble

Abstract

Les comparaisons européennes tendent à montrer que le taux d'emploi des étudiants français se situe, avec celui de l'Espagne, dans une position intermédiaire entre les niveaux de l'Italie et du Portugal et ceux, nettement plus élevés de pays comme l'Allemagne, l'Autriche, la Finlande, l'Irlande, les Pays-Bas ou le Royaume-Uni. Une enquête menée à l'UFR de Sciences Economiques de Grenoble, auprès de 905 étudiants de 1ere, 2e et 3e année de 1er cycle montre que 16,5 % d'entre eux occupaient un emploi d'une durée moyenne de 15 heures au moment de la rentrée universitaire, en septembre 2006. Le taux d'emploi progresse avec le niveau d'études, passant de 10 % en 1ere année à près de 30 % en 3e année. On estime à un sur quatre le nombre d'étudiants ayant occupé un emploi salarié l'an dernier, à un moment ou un autre de la période d'études.
