Abstract

While China's economic expansion continue to impress the world, a doubt persists on the robustness of this growth, since it is considered largely based on extensive way and strongly dependent on investment. The objective of this paper is to analyze the explanatory factors to the Chinese model of growth in long period on the basis of its input-output tables from 1981 to 2000. The analysis is multi-sartorial (17 sectors) and on the respective contribution to the development dynamics of these factors : the technical progress, exportation, consummation and investment.
