Abstract

Pour comprendre les rapports entre l'économie et la démocratie et la place qu'y occupe l'éthique, on doit disposer d'une vision de la modernité. L'objet de cette communication est, après avoir justifié la nécessité de ne pas s'en tenir aux acquis en la matière, d'en proposer une en conjuguant les apports de Marx (vision historique), de Weber (signification), de Commons (action collective instituante d'un ordre), de Giddens (pouvoir, règles/ressources) et de Boltanski et Thevenot (justification commune).
