Abstract

Les études sur le processus de veille sont très hétérogènes. Elles reposent sur des acceptions souvent très différentes de la veille, de son utilité, de sa conception et son instrumentation. Elles laissent également en suspens de nombreuses questions théoriques et empiriques. L'objectif de cet article est de dresser un état des connaissances de la veille en tant que processus. Sur la base d'une revue bibliographique (193 références) et de l'expérience des auteurs, chaque phase du processus de veille est étudié en détail pour mettre en avant des conceptions différentes selon les auteurs, identifier lorsqu'elles existent les instrumentations ou méthodes utilisables par les praticiens et souligner les limites et les questions qui se posent dans la pratiques
