Abstract

L'objectif de cet article est de situer la problématique des compétences au sein des théories de la firme. En focalisant l'analyse sur la théorie néo-institutionnelle et la théorie évolutionniste de la firme, il s'attache à montrer que l'économie des compétences est une synthèse de ce deux corpus, principalement quand on s'attaque à certaines questions comme l'innovation et l'apprentissage organisationnels. A cette fin, la réflexion s'est essentiellement cristallisée sur Je rôle des compétences dans la dynamique d'organisation et les interactions entre compétence, innovation et performance.
