Abstract

This research sheds new light, in health management, on the effects of therapeutic education. The results of a model test carried out on 225 patients (breast cancer) make it possible to explain the perceived benefits and costs of this care service and the impacts of its overall perceived value on three extra-role behaviors: advocacy, feedback, and helping. It validates its individual and collective contributions in oncology and makes it possible to value them to promote access to this still limited care service.
