Abstract

L'innovation constitue un levier de croissance essentiel pour les organisations. Comme tout élément stratégique, il est nécessaire de le piloter afin de pouvoir prendre les meilleures décisions au bon moment. Lorsque l'on parle de pilotage, naturellement nous nous rapprochons du contrôle de gestion. Toutefois, l'utilisation d'outils de gestion peut légitimement représenter un danger pour le développement de la créativité, indispensable à l'innovation. Cet ouvrage traite des interdépendances entre le contrôle de gestion et la créativité. La comparaison de deux contextes organisationnels nous amène à mettre en évidence : le rôle primordial de l'organisation qui peut être génératrice de créativité ; l'acceptation d'un déséquilibre entre les éléments en tension qui peut être source de remise en question et favorable à l'innovation ; et le rôle des cadres dirigeants comme médiateurs entre l'organisation et les acteurs du terrain.
