Abstract

Dans un contexte de transformation continue des services publics, l'engagement au travail et la performance adaptative constituent des enjeux stratégiques pour les cadres et les managers. En mobilisant le cadre théorique du Job Demands-Resources (JD-R), cette recherche explore le rôle de l'optimisme dispositionnel et du sentiment de compétence dans leur engagement au travail et leur performance adaptative. Les résultats d'une enquête menée auprès de 293 cadres et managers mettent en évidence un effet médiateur du sentiment de compétence entre l'optimisme dispositionnel et l'engagement d'une part et un effet similaire entre l'optimisme dispositionnel et la performance adaptative, d'autre part. Ces résultats soulignent l'importance de prendre en compte les ressources psychologiques dans les politiques de gestion des ressources humaines.
