Abstract

La République dominicaine affiche une croissance soutenue et une stabilité macroéconomique notables dans le contexte latino-américain. Ce dynamisme repose principalement sur la consommation et l'investissement privés, dans un cadre de libéralisation économique et d'ouverture qui a favorisé la diversification productive et l'attractivité du pays. Cependant, cette performance masque des fragilités structurelles qui pèsent sur la trajectoire de développement. Si des progrès significatifs ont été enregistrés en matière de développement humain et de réduction de la pauvreté, les inégalités persistent du fait de systèmes sociaux encore insuffisamment développés. En effet, les capacités budgétaires du pays sont limitées, notamment en raison d'une faible mobilisation des recettes fiscales, et restent insuffisantes face aux besoins d'investissement, en particulier dans les infrastructures, les services publics et la transition climatique.
