Abstract

L'objectif de cet article est d'étudier la contribution de l'économie sociale et solidaire à l'emploi des jeunes. A cet effet, nous avons réalisé une étude empirique sur les coopératives de pêche artisanale au niveau de la préfecture d'Agadir Idaoutanane. Pour ce faire, nous avons adopté la démarche qualitative en se basant sur la technique d'entretien semi-directif pour la collecte des données. Les résultats obtenus montrent que les coopératives de la pêche artisanale souffrent d'une certaine instabilité, et sont moins avancées aussi bien au niveau de la gestion qu'au niveau de la valorisation et commercialisation du produit halieutique. Par conséquence, la contribution de ces coopératives à créer des postes d'emploi pour les jeunes reste contestable en l'absence de développement des activités génératrices de revenus visant une industrie moderne de pêche.
