Abstract

Sustainably restoring agricultural land is not simply a matter of promoting specific farming practices; it also requires creating the conditions that enable and support transition pathways for agricultural and food systems. This systemic dimension is essential to foster the emergence and dissemination of innovations tailored to local contexts, and to design public policies that promote multi-stakeholder dynamics and which are grounded in robust while context-specific knowledge.
