Abstract

Alors que la raréfaction des ressources naturelles s'intensifie—les réserves halieutiques des océans se vident, la surface de la forêt amazonienne diminue année après année, etc.—, les entreprises peinent à développer des modèles qui soient à la fois économiquement viables et préservant les ressources naturelles. Cette mise en avant de la création de valeur économique au détriment de la valeur écologique s'explique en partie par le fait que les stratégies d'entreprise et les modèles d'affaires sous-jacents ignorent la réalité matérielle des ressources, qu'ils considèrent comme disponibles de manière illimitée (Carton & Parigot, 2024a).
