Abstract

Creativity is considered today as a valuable resource for personal and professional development, and for societal transformation. Being aware of this need, the University Grenoble Alpes implemented modules of training in creativity in order to develop students' personal and collective skills as well as their creative and reflexive thinking skills. In this article, we detail two experiments developed at the University Grenoble Alpes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The assessment of these modules on creativity illustrates that students develop creative and critical thinking, the ability to extend the boundaries of the possible, deliberative and argumentative capacities and listening skills. They develop these skills both individually and collectively. These experiments showed that in order to foster the understanding and the appropriation of skills by students it is necessary to accompany them before, during and after the module on creativity. This allows them to reflect on their practices. It is also important to support their reflection with the use of a logbook or with the creation of astonishment.
